Local Showcases

To show how the cooperation of science & technology - cultural heritage and cultural & creative industries can produce benefits and value for cities and regions, CreativeCH will promote four local showcases in the partner regions.

These showcases will provide concrete instruments to the local population and in particular to the young generation to  understand how science & technology and cultural creativity can allow an enhanced access to and a better understanding of cultural heritage.

Moreover the showcases will involve students in challenging issues connected to cultural heritage, innovative ICT applications and creative ideas for novel solutions.

The showcases will be realised in
TuscanySalzburgCatalonia and Banat

Each showcase will have a strong collaborative online presence as this allows easy access and stimulates participation.

Why the showcases?

By making cooperation among science & technology, cultural heritage and cultural & creative industries real and understandable the cooperation among the CreativeCH showcases will allow:

  • to acquire first hand experience in such cooperations
  • to involve the local population, in particular, the younger generation (students)
  • to develop a good understanding of the practical success factors of such cooperations
  • to transfer the insights into the CreativeCH peer-learning network and programme
